This is a huge moment in your life. Rather it will be your first child or your last you'll love to capture the journey. It is such a beautiful thing. So emotional for everyone involved and a great experience! How does this work?
First and foremost make sure the hospital where you will be delivering allows Photography during the process. Once that information has been confirmed I would love to get gather details. Everyone's Birth Story will be different so I am here for you. Please make sure to give me details on what you would like. I want to make sure we are all on the same page. I will not photograph anything you are not comfortable with or if you don't mind me photographing everything than I will do just that.
I know your baby can come at any moment. Which means I will be on call for you. Day/Night whenever. I ask that as soon as you are on your way to the hospital to let me know. I know it may be difficult to be on your phone during this time but I do ask that either yourself, partner or family member who will be with you to keep me updated. Sometimes the process goes very quickly so I want to know just about every detail before I arrive. I will make my way once you are 7/8cm dilated and photograph your process as soon as I arrive. I want to make sure to capture your true Birth Story, so I always say to act as I am not here. After your baby is born, I will stay up until 1-2hrs after to capture the Babies first moments.
What is the Cost for a Birth Story
The Fee for a Birth Story is $450. I do require a $150 deposit (taken off your total)
What is all included?
Your Birth Story includes having me there taking continuous photos throughout the process. You will receive all great images beautifully enhanced. An online gallery to view, share and shop your images. A custom USB Drive with your final images.
When will I get my pictures?
I always post previews! If allowed by you of course. Everyone wants to see pictures soon after your baby is born, Depending the time of day when I leave, you can either see previews the same day or the next day. Your final images will be ready within 2-4 weeks.
